Founded in 1950, the Council on Technology & Engineering Teacher Education (CTETE) is an international professional organization that provides leadership in the areas of research, standards, and professional development for technology teacher educators. CTETE is an affiliate organization of the International Technology & Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). The mission of CTETE is to support and promote the professional ideals of technology and engineering teacher education.
We accomplish this by:
- Providing leadership opportunities for our members.
- Stimulating and disseminating research on teaching and learning in technology and engineering education.
- Promoting professional dialogue on issues of importance to technology and engineering teacher education.
- Recognizing exemplary contributions to the technology and engineering teacher education profession.
The 2021 conference focuses on the way educators make technology and engineering education relevant for all. Educators use active learning, authentic assessments, collaboration, and put research into practice in order to help technology and engineering come to life!
