Program Description
Technology and Engineering Studies graduates are prepared to teach technology and pre-engineering courses at the middle and high school level or to train employees at corporations and in industrial settings. Students in the program are taught practical engineering principles as well as skills in creativity, design, invention, innovation, and collaboration as they prepare to teach courses in the general subject areas of manufacturing, construction, power and energy technology, web design, multimedia, video production, electronics, robotics, drafting, and woods technology.

Program Description
The program area of Technology and Engineering Education offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in technology and engineering education. At the undergraduate level, a degree in technology and engineering education prepares students to become qualified instructors who can teach the necessary skills required in our changing world. The Technology and Engineering Education emphasis is designed to prepare students for careers in teaching at the middle school and high school levels. At the master’s level, the program offers an innovative one-month summer program and regular program throughout the year. At the graduate level, students can obtain a doctoral degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis area in Technology and Engineering Education.
