Standards for Technological and Engineering Literary. Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy (STEL) provides an up-to-date roadmap for classroom teachers, district supervisors, administrators, states, and curriculum developers to promote technology and engineering education program development and curriculum design from Pre-K through twelfth grade.
Next Generation Science Standards. Lays out content standards for K-12 science education across three “dimensions of science learning,” which include science and engineering practices. The latter emphasizes designing and building, which are integral to the technology education curriculum.
Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association (TEECA). TEECA serves as a pre-professional organization providing opportunities to develop future technology and engineering educators. TEECA is also one of the affiliate councils of the ITEEA.
Technology Student Association. TSA is a national organization of students engaged in STEM at the middle and high school levels. TSA is supported by educators, parents, and business leaders who believe in the the need for a technologically literate society. The more than 230,000 student members engage in competitive events and leadership opportunities at the local, regional, statewide, and national levels.
STEM Center for Teaching and Learning. Affiliated with the ITEEA, the STEM-CTL offers a broad range of curriculum materials and professional development opportunities for STEM teachers.
LinkEngineering. A collaboration between the National Academy of Engineering and five parther organizations (including the ITEEA), LinkEngineering is a community of educators working with preK-12 students in classrooms and other settings. The site provides a range of resources for K-12 educators and others.
National Academy of Engineering. Through the National Academies Press and in conjunction with the National Research Council, the NAE has published several important reports related to technological literacy and engineering at the K-12 level.
